Karen Nyame KG links up with Leonce on new single, ‘Nightryde’: Listen

Karen Nyame KG has linked up with Atlanta’s Leonce to release a new single, ‘Nightryde’. Check it out below.

Lifted from her upcoming ‘Red’ EP, which is slated for release on 3rd November via her recently launched label, Rhythm In The City, ‘Nightryde’ is a sensual and percussive club track featuring KG’s own vocals.

The release follows the British-Ghanaian DJ and producer’s remix of Kelala’s ‘Contract,’ which dropped earlier this week and is featured as the lead cut of the upcoming remix album, ‘Rave:N’.

Speaking on the release, KG said: “Nightryde is a sexy club, sub bass, electronic roller, this is a co-collaborative effort with Atlanta’s, Leonce. I pretty much express desires for my lovers in Atlanta and in London. I am an international femme lothario so to speak, cheeky, braggadocious, tapping into my sensuous but street side with a mix between vocals and rap.

“RITC (Rhythm In The City) is an extension of my own production signature that embodies a multitude of styles, UK Funky, Altè r&b, Afro Altè, Gqom, Amapiano, Highlife, Afro House. The RITC sound is unconventionally rhythmic, a hub for genre-bending, Afro-Electronic music. The label is all about breaking conventions and formulas in electronic dance music.”

KG will debut the release this weekend at her headline show at Peckham Audio on Saturday (28th October). You can purchase tickets to the event here.
