Joy Orbison and Overmono share new track, 'Blind Date', via XL Recordings: Listen

Joy Orbison and Overmono have shared a new single via XL Recordings, ‘Blind Date’. You can listen to the track below.

The release marks the second collaboration on the label from the London producers, who shared ‘Bromley / Still Moving’ under the Joy Overmono alias in late 2019.

The latest offering from Overmono follows the release of their ‘Cash Romantic’ EP via XL back in April this year, and is Joy Orbison’s second release on the imprint in 2022 following ‘pinky ring’.

After years in the UK underground as solo artists, brothers Tom and Ed Russell, formerly known as Truss and Tessela, have made huge strides as a duo in recent years as Overmono. For the April 2022 DJ Mag UK cover feature, Lauren Martin learned how they’ve built a sound and A/V live show that taps into UK dance music legacies, all while staying true to themselves.
