Josey Rebelle, Greentea Peng, cktrl, more added to Grace Jones’ Meltdown festival line-up

Grace Jones has added the final names to her Meltdown Festival line-up.

Former DJ Mag cover star Josey Rebelle, Greentea Peng, cktrl, Eska and Alewya are among the latest additions to join previously announced artists like Solange, Peaches, Sky Ferreira, Hot Chip and Honey Dijon. Adrian Sherwood will be performing a special tribute to the late Lee “Scratch” Perry.

The rescheduled event – which runs from 10th – 19th June at London’s Southbank Centre – was originally slated to take place in 2020, but was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Meltdown Festival will also feature a programme of free events – including hula hooping masterclasses – as well as see Jones host the Island Life Reggae Soundclash in celebration of her Jamaican homeland.

Tickets for the newly announced shows will be available to buy tomorrow (13th April) at 10am (GMT).
