Jlin shares new single, ‘Auset’: Listen

Jlin has shared the next single off her upcoming album ‘Akoma‘. Listen to ‘Auset’ below.

This new track follows the Indiana artist’s single with Philip Glass, titled ‘The Precision of Infinity’. Out 22nd March, ‘Akoma’ will be her third full-length for Planet Mu, or fourth if including her 2023 Pulitzer Prize-shortlisted “mini-album” ‘Perspective‘, from last September.

In addition to the legendary composer Glass, the new album will feature key avant garde acts Björk and Kronos Quartet. 

In 2021, Jlin released a four-track EP on Planet Mu called ‘Embryo‘. Ahead of its release, Bruce Tantum caught up with the experimental producer to talk about the EP, working with the Third Coast Percussion ensemble, the stress of the pandemic and more.
