News
India’s Boxout FM online radio station will this weekend host a 48-hour fundraiser for the ongoing COVID-19 relief effort in India.
A lineup of artists from across the world will contribute mixes to the fundraiser, and all proceeds will be donated to GiveIndia, a not-for-profit organisation working to help COVID-19 patients, their families, and healthcare workers in the country right now.
Among the DJs and artists contributing exclusive sets to the station are Jacques Greene, Leon Vynehall, Bok Bok, Jubilee, Kindness, Coldcut, Daedelus, Nina Las Vegas, Truncate and Violet.
The 48-hour radio fundraiser will take place across Saturday, May 15th and Sunday, May 16th, and will be available to stream via Boxout FM’s website. All of the sets will be repeated in the following two days, with the fundraising effort set to conclude on Wednesday, May 19th.

India is currently experiencing a catastrophic second wave of COVID-19, leading to a severe shortage of oxygen tanks, ventilators and beds. As of this week, there have been more than 250,000 deaths related to the virus in total.
Indian techno label AsymetriK is also helping to fundraise for the country’s COVID-19 relief effort, releasing a digital compilation via Bandcamp.
