Ikonika announces new EP, 'Bubble Up', on Hyperdub

Ikonika is set to release a new EP through Hyperdub next month.

Spanning five tracks, ‘Bubble Up’ is said to showcase a more pop-focused side of the UK producer’s sound, while also drawing on deep house and amapiano. She also makes use of her own vocals for the first time on three of the tracks, which she describes as “queer love anthems for the dance floor”.

You can listen to lead cut ‘When You Look At Me’, which includes Ikonika’s vocals, below. Hyperdub will release the EP on 25th November.

The producer has also recently remixed Swimful’s track ‘Translation To Heaven’ for the SVBKVLT label, which DJ Mag premiered last month, and contributed a new production to the ‘Club Djembe Vol. 3’ EP, which was released earlier this month.

Revisit the producer’s contribution to DJ Mag’s How I Made feature series, in which she breaks down the production process for her track ‘Kicks Count’, here.
