Groove Armada's 'Superstylin'' remixed by Dance System: Listen

Groove Armada have enlisted Dance System to produce a new remix of their 2001 hit ‘Superstylin”.

Out now, the remix forms part of Groove Armada’s 25th anniversary celebrations, and follows on from the recent release of Logic1000’s remix of their track ‘My Friend’.

Dance System’s remix of Groove Armada’s classic retains much of the energy of the original, combining it with his signature rave-ready sound. On remixing the track, he said: “‘Superstylin” was such a massive tune for me when it came out. I’ll never forget Midfield General playing it at the Big Beach Boutique in Brighton 20 years ago, it was such a moment for me.

“It’s wild to be remixing it all these years later; getting under the bonnet of such a classic and seeing how it was constructed was so surreal. I really tried to stay true to the original’s energy, dubbing it out and making work on the dancefloor for 2022.”

A number of further special releases marking 25 years since Groove Armada’s debut single, ‘At The River’, are planned to come out across this year. They’re also heading out on their final full UK tour to mark the occasion this year.
