Glastonbury's Block9 area announces full line-up

Glastonbury’s Block9 area has confirmed the line-up for its corner of the mammoth festival site this year.

Situated in the south-east corner of the Glastonbury site, as ever, Block9’s line-up will this year once again be split across four stages: the NYC Downlow, Meat Rack, Genosys and IICON – the latter debuted at the festival in 2019. The area will also this year host a collaboration with Notting Hill Carnival, which will include a fully green-powered electric carnival float.

Among those confirmed to play on the IICON stage are Deena Abdelwahed, LSDXOXO, Pangaea b2b Pariah, Joy Orbison, SHERELLE, Floorplan, Steffi, Overmono, Giant Swan, and Shygirl.

Genosys will this year rebrand as Genosys Soundsystem, as Block9 marks 30 years since the legendary Castlemorton free rave and celebrates the power of protest within raving and electronic music. OK Williams and S.A.S.S. (Shanti Celeste, Moxie, Peach and Saoirse) are among the DJs billed to play there.

NYC Downlow will host sets from Honey Dijon, Todd Edwards, Prosumer and DJ Paulette, while Meat Rack, situated within NYC Downlow, will feature Dungeon Meat, Gina Breeze and more.

Find the full line-up for Block9’s area below.

This year’s Glastonbury will take place from 22nd-26th June, with the likes of Four Tet, Bicep, Little Simz and Kendrick Lamar having already been confirmed to play live elsewhere around the site.

The line-up for the festival’s Silver Hayes dance music-focused area was revealed last month, featuring last month’s cover star Batu, Anz, Avalon Emerson and lots more.
