Ghetts shares new single and video, ‘Twin Sisters (feat Skrapz)’: Watch

Ghetts has shared a new single, featuring Skrapz.

The track, ‘Twin Sisters’, is the second cut to be unveiled from forthcoming album ‘On Purpose, With Purpose’, which will be released on 2nd February. The song itself is produced by Ghetts’ frequent collaborator TenBillion Dreams.

Taking in keys and an operatic vocals, it features a verse each from Ghetts and Skrapz. The video, meanwhile, which you can watch below, stars both rappers and sets them against a minimal backdrop, accompanied by a violinist, choir and others.

‘On Purpose, With Purpose’ marks Ghetts’ first own new music since 2021’s ‘Conflict Of Interest’ LP. The record explores soul, R&B, Afrobeat, amapiano and gospel. ‘Twin Sisters’ follows the release of ‘Laps’ featuring Moonchild Sanelly, the video budget for which Ghetts instead donated to a local sports group, Newham and Essex Beagles Athletics Club, which has fostered world-renowned athletes like Sir Mo Farah, Christine Ohuruogu, Daley Thompson and others.

Last year, Ghetts contributed songwriting to the BBC One drama Champion about a fictional South London rapper’s family after he re-enters the music industry following a prison stay. The series stars Déja J Bowens, Malcom Kamulete, Corz and Ray BLK.
