Four Tet announces all-dayer in London’s Finsbury Park this summer
Four Tet has announced an all-day event for London’s Finsbury Park on Saturday 13th August.
The UK DJ and producer is set to play for five hours at the open air event, which will be his only extended festival appearance of the summer. A second stage will also feature, with guests to be confirmed.
Run in partnership with London dance music promoter Krankbrother, attendees are promised the location of “a beautiful tree-lined carriageway within Finsbury Park”, alongside natural wines, craft beers, and a compulsory £1 donation from tickets, which will go to local environmental charities. Continuing with the green approach, single-use plastics will be banned, site deliveries kept to a minimum, and tree planting projects will be undertaken by the team involved.
Earlier this month, several Four Tet albums returned to streaming sites after he signed a new publishing deal with Universal Music, the work had been removed in 2021 amid a royalties dispute with record label Domino. The producer also explored the late-John Peel’s 120,000-strong record collection for a recent BBC 6 Music broadcast, which aired on 13th February.
