Four-hour DJ Deeon tribute airs on Rinse FM: Listen

A four-hour tribute to the late DJ Deeon has aired on Rinse FM.

Following the sad news of the Chicago DJ and ghetto house pioneer’s passing last week, friends and collaborators from across the spectrum of house and techno contributed to the broadcast, sharing rare tracks and remixes, as well as mini-mixes inspired by the him. Deeon previously presented the platform’s Freak Mode Show.

Alan Fitzpatrick, Dance System, Ewan McVicar, Matthew Herbert, Nightwave, Elliot Adamson, Lauren Flax and Teki Latex were among the names involved in the Rinse marathon. In addition, a broadcast of Emerald’s The Dance Show that featured DJ Deeon as a guest was repeated.
