fabric’s 30-hour non-stop 25th anniversary party first line-up announced

fabric has announced the first names on the line-up for its 30-hour non-stop party celebrating the club’s 25th anniversary.

Slated to take place from October 12th to 14th, the weekend-long event will feature sets from the likes of Ben UFO, Anna Wall, FJAAK, Peach, Ricardo Villalobos, Ben Klock, Bobby., Gabrielle Kwarteng, Josh Caffé, BASHKKA, Quest, Sonja Moonear and others. More artists are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

According to the press release, the party will also include “plenty of surprises throughout the celebration that you can only experience by being there.”

It’s been a busy year for the iconic venue in the run-up to its 25-year milestone. Back in January, fabric announced it would be embarking on a year-long live campaign across the world, featuring an array of special events, collaborations, and club curations at venues and festivals.

The anniversary year has also seen a series of special in-house events under the fabric25 banner, hosting sets from the likes of likes of Craig Richards, Ricardo Villalobos, Seth Troxler, Leon Vynehall, Saoirse, and more.

The tour has already seen shows in Europe, Latin America, and the US, with events at Guesthouse Bucharest, Sub Club Glasgow, FUSE Brussels, Lux Club Lisbon, Tresor Berlin, Space Miami, Baum Festival, Sound Garden Quito, Superclub Lima, Centro de eventos Bosque Luz, Santiago and more.

Last year fabric also announced a 25th anniversary book to coincide with the celebrations, inviting the public to make contributions. The book, set to be published by White Rabbit Books this year, will chronicle the club’s history – from when it first opened in 1999 through to the present day.

In related news, fabric Originals – the label founded by the London club – has had an equally busy year of releases. Last month, the Or:La announced her debut album ‘Thrusting Theta’ for the label, which is set for release autumn.

The Irish artist will join the likes of DJ Nobu and Wata Igarahsi, who put out a split single on the imprint back in February, as well as Chloé Robinson and DJ ADHD, who dropped the EP ‘Dream’ on fabric Originals last year.
