Everything But The Girl announce additional three additional live shows in London

Everything But The Girl will return to London’s Moth Club for three dates in June.

The duo — who played their first set of live shows in over 25 years at the Hackney venue earlier this month — will head back to the Hackney venue to play shows on 8th, 9th and 10th June. They will be joined again by Rex Horan on double bass and Family Stereo’s Blake Watt on guitar and vocals.

Tickets, which are limited to two per person, go on sale at 6pm BST tomorrow (17th April) via DICE.

In an Instagram post, the pair explained that the shows will span a mixture of songs from their “40-year careers as both a duo and solo artists”.

For their first set of comeback gigs at the Moth Club earlier this month, Everything But The Girl — aka Tracey Thorn and Ben Watt — treated fans to a mix of original material and a raft of cover songs, including their take on ‘I Might Say Something Stupid’ by Charli XCX.

Everything But The Girl last performed live together in 2023 for a BBC radio session, but haven’t played in front of a public audience since Switzerland’s Montreux Jazz Festival in 2000.

Last year, Moth Club launched a petition to contest two separate proposals from Hackney Council to develop a block of flats on nearby Morning Lane.
