DMC World DJ Championships announce dates for virtual 2020 event

News

The 35th Technics/DMC World DJ Championships has announced its dates for 2020’s virtual edition, with finalists going head-to-head for the crown on 27th November.

In September the event announced it would be online-only for 2020, a result of the coronavirus pandemic, and contenders have been battling it out since then. On 16th November, the final ten turntablists who will compete for the top title are due to be announced, picked from 16 World Elimination Finalists, which currently include UK player JFB, USA’s Immortal, Algeria’s DJ Dino, DJ Kitsos of Greece, and 2018-2019 champion, France’s DJ Skillz.

Check out some of this year’s regional winning sets below, watch the rest here, and head for the DMC World Championships 2020 website on 27th November at 6PM to watch this year’s contest.
