DJ Q shares new track, ‘Leave Me Now’, on Local Action: Listen

DJ Q has shared a new track . You can listen to ‘Leave Me Now’ below.

The single follows on from last month’s ‘Gunshot’, and again arrives on London’s Local Action — the label that carried his celebrated album, ‘Est. 2003‘, one of DJ Mag’s Top Albums of 2022.

Moving away from the UK garage sound Q is most associated with, ‘Leave Me Now’ is instead “a timely reminder” of his love of bassline house and pivotal role developing the genre over the past 20 years. The cut was mastered by another icon of the British underground, dubstep pioneer Joker.

Last summer, DJ Q reunited with Royal T and Flava D, reigniting “UKG supergroup” TQD for the first time in six years via the album ‘There For You‘. A year earlier, the trio played b2b2b at DJ Mag’s HQ in London. You can rewatch the set here
