David Guetta and Afrojack drop track with Missy Elliott: Listen

David Guetta and Afrojack have dropped a new track, ‘Trampoline’, with a trio of female stars featuring on the outing.

Artists appearing on the release include legendary, multi-Grammy Award winning rapper, songwriter, singer, and producer Missy Elliott, who was honoured with her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in November 2021.

J Balvin and Russ collaborator BIA, whose CV also includes working alongside Nicki Minaj and grabbing the title of the first female hip hop star to bag six platinum albums, is also involved. As is rising Tampa, Florida vocalist Doechii, who shot to fame with 2020’s ‘Oh The Places You’ll Go’, which found inspiration in children’s book icon, Dr. Seuss.

“I started working on this record years ago with Missy Elliott and Afrojack, then Mike Caren from APG came along with a great new idea and wanted to revisit it,” said Guetta. “We gave it to BIA and Doechii and got this great finished result. I love it, it’s a mix of hip hop and electronic music, which is rare for me. I’ve worked on a similar track before, ‘Hey Mama’ with Nicki Minaj and Bebe Rexha, and that was huge. I don’t go to this territory often, but when I do, I go hard!”

“David’s my brother as you know; we’ve had many songs together and we just got nominated for a GRAMMY for ‘Hero’, so we’ll be there to celebrate,” added Afrojack. “Also very excited, of course, to work together with BIA, Doechii and Missy Elliott. I’ve been a Missy Elliott fan for a very long time because she’s very cool, makes amazing beats, and awesome music that I’ve listened to since I was a kid.”
