Dalston Superstore announces 16th birthday party

Dalston Superstore has revealed plans to mark its 16th birthday.

The cherished LGBTQ+ venue in East London will celebrate the occasion with an 11-hour party that will be split across three rooms on Sunday, 4th May. Guest DJs will include Prosumer, Jay Duncan, Panty Soaker Sound System and venue co-founder Dan Beaumont, among others.

Dalston Superstore was opened by Beaumont and Matt Tucker in 2009 and has served as a bar and events space for queer revellers and promoters since at its base of Kingsland High Street. Revisit DJ Mag’s 2024 feature on the venue, published to mark its 15th birthday, here.

All ticket sales for the 16th birthday event will be on the door. Find full information below.

Dalston Superstore was honoured for its outstanding contribution to British club culture at DJ Mag’s 2024 Best of British awards. “[Winning the Outstanding Contribution award] means the world to us,” Beaumont said at the time “We are so proud of all of the DJs who have come through our basement, from legends like Honey Dijon and The Blessed Madonna to London heroes like Hannah Holland and Michelle Mannetti to the new East End Superstars like Karlie Marx and ASHTREY.
