Daft Punk share ‘Infinity Repeating’ creation video: Watch
For a band that’s long split up, Daft Punk can’t stop releasing new material.
Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo are giving fans another behind-the-scenes look with a new four-part series about the making of ‘Infinity Repeating‘. Out now on YouTube, the series features director Warren Fu and producer Wyan Reichenfeld sharing the story of uncovering the previously unreleased 2013 demo with Julian Casablancas + The Voidz that landed on the recent 10th anniversary edition of their final album, ‘Random Access Memories‘.
This is the third series of behind-the-scenes footage that Daft Punk, who split in 2021, have released this year. In June, they shared a five-part documentary about the ‘Random Access Memories’ collaborators, followed by the July ‘Memory Tapes’ series about the making of the 2013 album. The latter collection features footage with Todd Edwards and Pharrell Williams.
Last month, Daft Punk released a drumless edition of ‘Random Access Memories‘.
Rumours that Bangalter and de Homem-Christo would reunite at the 2024 Paris Olympics were denied by a representative.
