Confidence Man announce ‘fabric Presents’ mix with new single: Listen

Confidence Man have announced their forthcoming ‘fabric Presents’ mix.

Set for release on 23rd August, ‘fabric Presents Confidence Man’ brings together some of the Australian group’s own DJ staples with tracks from “friends within the scene”, including exclusives from Joe Goddard, Joshua James, Mona Yim and The Emanations.

“The mix was a bunch of songs that we’ve been playing at parties and DJ sets etc combined with a bunch of older tunes we’ve loved for ages,” they say in a press release. Also a bunch of tunes sent through from friends we also dig. We’re trying to make something we’d love to dance to.”

Get a first taste of the LP below via the “2000 club-banger-inspired” track with fellow Australian DJ and producer IN2STELLAR, ‘BREAK IT DOWN (ON THE BASSLINE)’.

Confidence Man — who played four times at Glastonbury 2024, including a much-hyped set on the Pyramid Stage — are due to release their next studio album ‘3AM (LA LA LA)’ on 18th October, which takes its cue from “UK rave sounds of the 90s and 2000s – but like, in a hot way”.

In May, Mike Skinner, aka the Streets, turned in a ‘fabric Presents’ mix that featured original material from Coki, Leotrix and Flowdan, Snowy, Caspa, lau.ra, and Rohaan as well as five tracks from the Streets.

Last year saw the release of a remix of DJ Seinfeld and Confidence Man’s single ‘Now U Do’ by Carlita.
