Chloé Caillet launches SMIILE label with ’12 Inch Acid’, announces world tour

Chloé Caillet has launched her own label, SMIILE Records, with the release of a new single of her own, ’12 Inch Acid’.

Out now, the track was co-produced by Caillet, together with Melbourne-based artist Luke Alessi. Centred around thumping kicks and 303 acid house synths, the track is firmly focused on the dancefloor.

“This first track was made with a pure feeling of making a club-focused record to get people to keep going throughout the night and to bring some of their favourite elements of the ’90s dance scene,” Caillet said in a statement.

The launch of SMIILE Records follows on from the Parisian artist recently launching her LGBTQ+ SMIILE club night concept. She will be bringing it to the US through March, with parties lined up in Los Angeles, New York and Miami.

Following those events, she will head to Europe to take SMIILE to Paris’ Badaboum on 29th March, Village Underground in London on 13th April, and Barcelona’s Nitsa on 10th May.
