Charlotte de Witte shares new single ‘No Division’: Listen
Charlotte de Witte has shared a new single. You can listen to ‘No Division’ below.
The Belgian techno stars’s latest track is the second to be taken from her forthcoming eponymous debut album. The full record is slated to land on 7th November via her own label, KNTXT.
The single, which follows April’s ‘The Realm‘ , features vocals from XSALT, who previously appeared on de Witte tunes including ‘Overdrive’, ‘High Street’, ‘Roar’ and ‘How You Move’. The pair’s fifth collaboration is a high-powered, hoover-packed slice of main stage techno.
The single lands as de Witte finishes a string of US dates, including six shows in New York. Over five days she played iconic spots such as Public Records, 99 Scott, Avant Gardner, Superior Ingredients, Knockdown Center and a bridge in Williamsburg with the Clubstack crew, some footage of which you can see below.
“Launching this single while I’m in New York feels symbolic,” said de Witte when she teased the track last week. “There’s something about the city, its chaos, its diversity, its constant movement, that perfectly mirrors the spirit of ‘No Division’. It’s a place where differences collide and coexist.
“This track is another chapter of my upcoming album, and like the others, it reflects a part of who I am. ‘No Division’ is both a call and a celebration,” she continued. “It’s a reminder of what’s possible when we lose ourselves in the music and come together on the same frequency. It reminds us that we are one.”
After New York, de Witte appeared at Detroit’s Movement Festival. Next month sees her join line-ups at a slew of European festivals, including Department, Stockholm, Brunch Electronik in Barcelona, and Turin’s Kappa Futur.
