A custom synthesizer, as well as a number of augmented reality cereal box synthesizers, has been released by Reese’s Puffs.

In a new take on cereal boxes which have regularly featured puzzles and cut-outs, the popular American breakfast brand has developed three interactive cereal box “Puffs FX” synthesizers: the Crunchy Drum Machine, the Creamy Lead Synth and the Chocolatey Bass Synth.

Aspiring Reese’s Puffs producers can place cereal on the back of boxes and use an augmented reality app to make music at PuffsFX.com. The tracks can then be shared via Reese’s-inspired music videos.

As well as the AR synths, Reese’s are set to release the RP-PRO, a real synthesizer designed to look like a cereal box with buttons and controllers inspired by various Reese’s sweets and cereals, and will be made exclusively available to a handful of artists.
