Calvin Harris releases country single, ‘Smoke The Pain Away’: Listen
Calvin Harris has released a new country single called ‘Smoke The Pain Away’. Listen to it below.
The Scottish producer, real name Adam Wiles, has shifted away from his usual dance remit with the new song, which features his own voice for the first time since 2014. He’s been teasing the single on social media this month with video of him performing the song with a guitar.
The under-three-minute single features the lyrics: “Too late I’ve been up for days / I can’t see straight / No I can’t smoke the pain away”.
Wiles’ last Calvin Harris release was his July 2024 collaboration with Ellie Goulding titled ‘Free‘. His Love Regenerator project hasn’t put out new music since 2022’s ‘Lonely‘ single with Riva Starr and Sananda Maitreya.
Harris will be headlining Ushuaïa Ibiza’s first-ever “double residency” this summer season, hosting parties on Tuesdays and Fridays at the White Isle venue.
Calvin Harris curated his biggest hits of the past decade in a retrospective compilation ‘96 Months‘, released last August.
