Burial and Kode9 release split Hyperdub 12” EP, ‘Phoneglow / Eyes Go Blank’

Burial and Kode9 are teaming up for another joint EP, ‘Phoneglow / Eyes Go Blank’. Listen to the singles below. 

The split 12-inch will be released on Kode9’s label Hyperdub on 23rd August, with the digital version out now. Burial handles the A-side track, ‘Phoneglow’, with Kode9’s ‘Eyes Go Blank’ on the B-side. 

The UK mainstays’ last collaborative release was the ‘Infirmary / Unknown​ ​Summer‘ EP for fabric Originals last year, following their joint mix for the final FabricLive compilation in 2018.  

This split will be Burial’s first release back on his usual home of Hyperdub following the XL Recordings single ‘Dreamfear / Boy Sent From Above‘. 

Kode9’s last album was 2022’s ‘Escapology‘, which earned him the Album of the Month title for June.
