Brian Eno, Nile Rodgers, Debit, more contribute to Earth Day charity compilation

Brian Eno, Nile Rodgers, Debit, and many more artists have donated tracks to a new charity compilation for Earth Day (22nd April).

With Martyn, Tom VR, and Hannah Peel also featured, over 100 artists in total have contributed to the ‘EarthPercent x Earth Day’ project, which will be available to purchase on Bandcamp only for the next few weeks. All funds raised will go towards EarthPercent-run initiatives made up of grants later this year.

Founded by Brian Eno in 2021, EarthPercent is a climate change initiative that aims to steer businesses and artists in the music industry towards donating to the most impactful organisations addressing the climate emergency. They aim to raise $100 million from the industry collectively by 2030. Find out how you can get involved here.

Last year, Ninja Tune, Warp, !K7 and a number of other labels signed up to Music Climate Pact, a new initiative that encourages organisations within the music industry to pledge to reach net-zero emissions by 2050.
