Boudica Music Conference returns to FOLD with Juliana Huxtable, Jaguar, PXSSY PALACE’s Nadine Noor, more next month

Boudica Music Conference will return to FOLD on Saturday 24th January 2025.

Established as a platform for female, trans+ and non-binary people working within electronic music, the multidisciplinary all-day gathering is divided into panels, workshops and a club event.

Speakers are set to include Nadine Noor of PXSSY Palace, Hannah Holland, Saskhia Menendez, and Charisse C. Subjects such as The Future of LGBTQIA+ Events In the UK, Making a Career In Music Sustainable, and The First LGBTQIA+ Musicians Census will all be covered. The day will open with a conversation between Juliana Huxtable and BBC Radio 1 host, Jaguar

Beyond that, a number of artists have been drafted for the Mentorship Hub. Attendees can register for one-to-ones with Charles Green, Hannah Shogbola, Downtown Music, BMG’s Loz Bruneau, Warp affiliate Maiko Okabe, and Heavenly Recordings’ Katherine Cantwell. Meanwhile, 32 slots are available for two DJ Workshop classes, led by Lolsnake and Riva in association with Pioneer DJ. The production and performance elements require advanced booking.

Following the conference, a night-time party will run at FOLD “til’ late”, featuring sets from Huxtable, Lolsnake, Teecra, the winner of Boudica’s Mentorship programme, Boo, and Samantha Togni, founder of the conference and the party series it has grown out of.

Tickets are sold separately for day and night sessions, with students, those on low income and unemployed people paying nothing. A sliding pricing system is in operation for all other attendees, set between £10 and £15 for each part of the event. Get yours here.
