Astral Plane label and blog announces final release after 10 years

Astral Plane, the record label founded alongside the blog of the same name, has announced its final release, a nine-track compilation called ‘Astraltopia’.

Marking the third and final instalment of the ‘Topia’ compilation series, the release includes tracks by aya (under her former LOFT moniker), Amazondotcom, CHANTS and SHALT, among others. Iceboy Violet also features on one cut with MICHAELBRAILEY.

In a press release, the label said the compilation, which is comprised of work by artists who’ve had a long-standing connection with Astral Plane, “traverses outgrowths of past label releases, novel sonic formulations and the infra-zones between and underneath extant club sounds”.

‘Astraltopia’ follows 2012’s ‘Heterotopia’ and 2015’s ‘Psychotropia’. It’s out now and available to listen to below. Purchase it via Bandcamp here.
