Armada Music releases 20th anniversary vinyl compilation

Armada Music has marked 20 years since its founding with the release of a new limited edition vinyl box set.

The compilation release takes in four vinyl records and 52 tracks in all. It takes in music that was originally released via Armada Music, as well a number of cuts that were latter reissued or licensed by the label.

Among the classics featured are Joe Smooth’s ‘Promised Land’, Chicane’s ‘Saltwater’, Chocolate Puma’s ‘I Wanna Be U’, Inner City’s ‘Good Life’, and Armand Van Helden’s ‘Funk Phenomena’. There are also tracks by the likes of co-founder Armin van Buuren, Deadmau5, Tensnake and Low Steppa included across the release.

In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Armada Music has also launched a documentary series exploring the legacy of some of those tracks. You can watch the first episode, about Joe Smooth’s ‘Promised Land’, below.

The box set is available to purchase via Armada Music’s online store.
