Aphex Twin’s ‘th1 [evnslower]’ has been released on streaming services for the first time. You can listen to the track below. 

Arriving on Warp Records, the single is the second to be taken from the forthcoming ‘Selected Ambient Works Volume II (Expanded Edition)’. The full package will be released on four-LP, triple-CD and double-CD versions on 4th October. 

First released in 1994, this will be the first time all tracks from the project will be available on all formats, including a ferric cassette version of ‘th1 [evnslower]’, which can be pre-ordered now. 

A series of “album listening celebrations” in select locations across the UK are also being planned, with specific venues set to be revealed closer to the time. You can sign up to receive news here. 

Last month, Aphex Twin was filmed playing a rare DJ set at a small wedding. A new book about the artist is set to go on sale from 30th October, Aphex Twin: A Disco Pogo Tribute. The 250-page book covers the artist’s hugely influential career to date, and includes archive images by Paul Nicholson, designer of the iconic Aphex logo, alongside contributions by journalists and music experts.

Last year, a separate book, analysing each of the producer’s albums and tracks, was released.
