Anjunadeep launches new label for “next generation” artists, Explorations

Anjunadeep has launched a new label, Explorations.

The imprint is aimed at the “next generation” of Anjunadeep artists and follows on from its compilation series of the same name, which covered 25 editions between 2016 – 2023.

“Our new Anjunadeep Explorations label is an evolution of the much-loved EP series. Each week, we’ll present music from the next generation of Anjunadeep artists, continue developing the sound of the label, and throw in the odd curveball. We’ve got some amazing music in the pipeline from almost 20 artists, and can’t wait to start sharing it,” says Anjunadeep label director Dom Donnelly.

The label’s first release is a limited-run 12” white label sampler comprising six tracks that includes “a melodic breakbeat cut” from LAR, featuring Glaswegian vocalist ALLKNIGHT, and some “bright deep house” from Omeel. Individual digital releases are due to follow. Pre-order the sampler here.

The ‘Explorations’ EP series covered artists such as Ben Böhmer, Marsh, and Luttrell, many of whom became staples of the Anjunadeep label.

Back in March, Anjunadeep put out the ‘Miyanosawa’ single by Qrion, who was awarded DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs Future Star title in 2021.
