Amapiano artist Mr JazziQ drops video for new single, ‘Woza’, dedicated to Mpura and Killer Kau: Watch

News

Amapiano artist Mr JazzIQ has shared a video for his new single, ‘Woza’.

The clip, which you can watch below, is dedicated to the late amapiano artist Mpiru and Killer Kau, who were tragically killed in a car accident in South Africa earlier this month.

Speaking about the dedication, JazzIQ said: “We have lost two of our brothers. Mpura and Killer Kau were important members of our community and both had such bright futures ahead of them. I am dedicating the ‘Woza’ video to them in memory of their artistry in contributing to make amapiano South Africa’s most beloved genre.”

Mr JazzIQ was close to both artists, with Mpura himself featuring on ‘Woza’, alongside other amapiano artists Lady Du, Kabza De Small and Boohle.

The guest artists, including Mpura, feature in the video, which is set in a fictional photographer’s studio in Johannesburg.

‘Woza’ is lifted from Mr JazzIQ’s recent album, ‘Party With The English’, which is out now.
