Aloe Blacc has confirmed he made “several” unreleased collaborations with Avicii.

California-born musician and singer/songwriter Aloe Blacc and the late Avicii worked together on some of the EDM star’s biggest hits before his tragic death in 2018, most notably the 2013 track ‘Wake Me Up’, which has been certified Platinum in over 15 countries.

Following the release of another collaboration, ‘SOS’, on Avicii’s posthumous album ‘TIM’ in 2019, Blacc has said there are “several” more tracks which remain unreleased.

“I have a few tracks but I am not certain if his record label or family will release them,” he told the Daily Star. “It’s really up to them but some songs are finished and some are not.

“The hard part is, if it’s not finished, how can you finish it if he can’t give his final blessing? I am just leaving it in the hands of the people that can make those decision.”

In February last year, Avicii was awarded two posthumous Swedish Grammys for both his album ‘TIM’, and song of the year for ‘SOS’.
