A disco ball emoji is finally available on Apple

Apple has finally unveiled a new disco ball emoji as part of its Apple iOS 15.4 update.

The update, which has been in its beta testing stage for some time, is now being rolled out more widely to the owners of iPhones, with the disco ball emoji appearing, as you might expect, as a silver ball.

Other new additional features of the iOS update include the ability to unlock your phone with a masked face, 36 other new emojis, and AirTag security updates.

The disco ball emoji was first teased last July, and had become a much anticipated new addition to Apple’s arsenal of emojis since.

In 2019, Glitterbox launched a petition to Apple and Android for the creation of a disco ball emoji.
