Listen to the title track from Phife Dawg's posthumous album, 'Forever'
A previously unreleased track by the late Phife Dawg, set to feature on a forthcoming posthumous solo LP, has been shared online.
The new cut, ‘Forever’, is the title track for the upcoming album, and samples the word “forever” used in tracks by the likes of Outkast and Wu-Tang Clan. DJ Rasta Root, V. Rich, and Nottz produced the cut, which you can listen to below.
This is the third song to be unveiled from the late A Tribe Called Quest rapper’s forthcoming posthumous album, following ‘French Kiss Deux’ and ‘Nutshell, Pt. 2’.
The album, which was fully announced last week, features 13 tracks in total, and includes contributions from the likes of Q-Tip, Busta Rhymes, Redman and members of De La Soul. It will be released on 22nd March, to mark the sixth anniversary of Phife Dawg’s death.
