There’s a rave under a Concorde jet in Manchester next month

Two house and disco parties are set to take place in the shadow of a Concorde jetliner housed at a Manchester Airport hangar this spring.

‘Rave Under A Plane’ was originally set to take place in April 2020, but plans were put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic. Two years on, and a pair of dates have now been announced, the first of which — Saturday 19th March — will see Dan Shake and Herbie Saccani join Surco residents in the DJ booth.

Three weeks later, on Saturday 9th April, Crazy P and Sharples will take control, again joined by residents. Both parties will run from 5PM until midnight, with the venue offering a chance to get close to the iconic Concorde G-BOAC aircraft, one of just three Concordes left in the UK, with only 18 remaining in the world. The plane originally entered service in 1976, and remains one of just two supersonic airliner models to fly commercially,

Tickets are available here.
