Trade announces line-up for 24-hour 30th birthday party
News
London’s legendary after-hours party Trade is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a 24-hour event next month.
Taking place on 12th February, the line-up for the event at Egg London has now been revealed, with a number of acts from the original parties, as well as some new faces, joining the action.
Among those set to play are original Trade figures such as Andy Farley, Smokin’ Joe, The Sharp Boys, Tall Paul and Knuckleheadz, while Frankel & Harper and Remco Beekwilder are among the newer names getting their first taste of Trade.
A number of acts are still yet to be added to the bill, while one very special guest will be revealed on the day of the event, which kicks off at 6pm and runs for 24 hours after that. Details of the party were first revealed late last year.
Tickets for the party are available here.
Running from 1990 to 2002, Trade was London first-ever legal after-hours club, running parties at the now-defunct Turnmills every Sunday. The news of the party’s line-up comes six months after the original venue was commemorated with a plaque by Islington’s Pride.
