Are you passionate about underground electronic music? Do you have an ear for what it takes to make a perfect mix? What track is driving underground dancefloors? We looking for a dedicated music enthusiast to take the helm of our “Mix of the Week” and “Track of the Week” selections.

About the Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate curator who lives and breathes underground electronic music. No commercial EDM—just the unique, cutting-edge, and diverse sounds that push the boundaries of the scene. Your role will be to select and write about the best mixes and tracks each week, providing insightful commentary on what makes them stand out.

What We’re Looking For:

• A Deep Knowledge of Underground Electronic Music – From deep house and techno to experimental breaks and leftfield sounds, you should have a broad and refined taste.
• Writing Skills – You must articulate why a mix or track deserves the spotlight in a way that captivates our audience. (although we don’t think you need to be Hemmingway)
• Global Perspective – We welcome applicants from anywhere in the world. Our readership is international, and we want someone with a wide-ranging musical appreciation.
• Commitment to Consistency – This role requires at least one hour per week to curate and write about selections.
• An Understanding of DJ Culture & Electronic Music Trends – You should be up-to-date with emerging artists, labels, and movements within the underground scene.

Responsibilities:

• Select the Mix of the Week – Identify a standout DJ set that represents the best of underground electronic music and write a compelling feature about it.
• Choose the Track of the Week – Highlight a track that pushes the boundaries of the scene and explain why it deserves attention.
• Engage With Artists and Labels – Build connections with DJs, producers, and labels to stay ahead of the latest releases.
• Deliver High-Quality Weekly Write-Ups – Ensure that your selections are accompanied by engaging and insightful content.
