John Glacier and Sampha team up on new single, ‘​​Ocean Steppin’: Listen

John Glacier and Sampha have collaborated on a new single, ‘Ocean Steppin’. Listen to it below. 

The track is set to appear on John Glacier’s forthcoming album, ‘Like A Ribbon’, which is due on 14th February via Young. 

Produced by Kwes Darko, ‘Ocean Steppin’ sets the understated cool of John Glacier’s vocals and Sampha’s weightless melodies against a gently driving drum beat. 

The new album follows on from Glacier’s critically acclaimed mixtape ‘SHILOH: Lost For Words’, released in 2021, and last year’s ‘Duppy Gun‘ EP.

The new track follows a string of collaborations from Sampha, including ‘I’m On Your Team’ with Romy, ‘Satellite Business 2.0’ with Little Simz, and ‘fear less’, a track taken from Fred Again..’s ‘ten days’ album.
