Gina Jeanz releases new EP, ‘Lifetime In A Dance’: Listen

Gina Jeanz has released a new EP, ‘Lifetime In A Dance’, along with a video for the single, ‘Eternal Now’.

Out now on Temper Tone, the EP has been designed to cut through the dropping winter temperatures with four warming tracks of Afro-house and Afro-tech peppered with acoustic guitar licks, synths and samples.

For the ‘Eternal Now’ video, Gina teamed up with  filmmaker Mousa Sow, who stitched together stunning footage recorded during a recent trip to the African island of Zanzibar.

Speaking in more detail about that trip and the video it inspired, Gina commented: “The song was inspired by the experience of something so vivid and powerful that it feels as though time had stopped, leaving only that moment to exist. It’s a state of transcendence, where the past and future fade away, replaced by a sense of boundless freedom and presence. My first visit to Zanzibar felt exactly like this—a magical experience forever etched in my memory.

“The visuals reflect the harmony between Zanzibar’s people and its natural beauty—a coexistence that feels effortless. There’s something uniquely welcoming about the African community, a warmth that invites you in with open arms. It’s a feeling I deeply miss when I’m away from the continent: the simple joy of being together, free from the rush of time or the pressure to be anywhere else.”

Earlier this year, Gina Jeanz joined Karen Nyame KG on the latter’s collaborative EP, ‘Rhythm Vol. 1’.
