Premiere: Emmanuel Top ‘Turkish Bazar (Chris Liebing Remake)’

Chris Liebing has reworked Emmanuel Top’s 1994 acid rave anthem ‘Turkish Bazar’. Have an exclusive first listen below.

Landing next Friday (20th December) via Liebing’s label CLR, the rework features all the unmistakable components of the original hit – from the 303 licks to the supple pads and pounding drums  – painstakingly re-recorded by the German techno titan for maximum dancefloor impact.

“Emmanuel Top was one of the most amazing and productive producers in the ’90s and early 2000s,” Liebing told DJ Mag. “‘Turkish Bazar’ was one of the many reasons that I [became] a Jim Morrison fan, always a huge track for me. So getting the blessing from Emmanuel Top to release my remake is a massive honour.

“And for those of the young generation who don’t know about Emmanuel Top, I hope to inspire them to look into his catalogue and find even more amazing tracks by him.”

Originally founded by Liebing in 1999, the Create Learn Repeat (CLR) label reemerged in 2021 after a five-year hiatus. Recent releases on the imprint include DEAS’ ‘Maniac’ EP two-tracker and Risa Taniguchi’s ‘So Loud’ EP, and now Liebing’s electrifying rework of an Emmanuel Top classic.

‘Turkish Bazar (Chris Liebing Remake)’ is out 20th December via CLR. Pre-order the track here, and have an exclusive first listen below.
