Batu and Nick León share collaborative EP, ‘Yiu’, on A Long Strange Dream: Listen

Batu and Nick León have joined forces for a surprise release, ‘Yiu’. The four-track EP is out today, 4th December, via Batu’s imprint, A Long Strange Dream. 

Blending Latin and UK club influences with psychedelic energy, the EP features four tracks – ‘Rezz’, ‘Yiu’, ‘Tuvan’, and ‘Palo’ – and is the latest release on Batu’s A Long Strange Dream imprint, which he launched back in 2023. The label has quickly become a platform for pushing experimental club sound via the likes of Batu’s own single ‘Other Means‘ earlier this year. 

This year has also seen Batu’s other label, Timedance, put out various various strong releases including Verraco’s ‘Breathe… Godspeed’ and re:ni’s ‘BeautySick.’

For Nick León, ‘Yiu’ also comes after a busy few months. Back in July, he collaborated with Erika de Casier on the track ‘Bikini’ for TraTraTrax, which followed his production work on de Casier’s album ‘Still’.
