Seth Troxler has teamed up with New York musician and photojournalist Bill Patrick for a new book documenting life on the road titled In Between.

Images for the book were taken over the course of 10 months, between February and November 2023 when Patrick joined Troxler on a world tour spanning four continents, 20 countries and 40 cities.

In Between, which is Patrick’s first book, combines over 250 images captured in 35mm using vintage cameras such as vintage, including the Contax T2, Minolta Maxxum 7000 and Olympus XA2, along with written copy, combining behind-the-scenes shots and live photography.

Announcing the book on social media, Troxler wrote: “Bill documented every moment of this journey combining photojournalism, music photography and portraiture. The resulting photographs offer an intimate glimpse into my life on the road and a kaleidoscopic reflection on the velocity of life.

“Bill and I have been best friends for close to 20 years, meeting outside a party in Williamsburg in 2005 during some American holiday celebration. When Bill and I first discussed this book, it was a way to spend more time together. It became a year of looking at life through a different lens.”

Ahead of the release on the 12th November, the book will be officially launched on Friday, 18th October at an event at ADE 2024 that will include a signing and talk from Troxler and Patrick. ADE 2024 stars on 16th October with a run of four opening shows taking place across the city. DJ Mag will be throwing a party on Friday at Skatcafé with some very special guests.
