Yaeji shares self-directed video for ‘booboo’: Watch

Yaeji has unveiled a video for her recent single, ‘booboo’.

The New York-via-Seoul producer, DJ, and songwriter both self-directs and stars in the video for the club track, which came out in August.

“The unapologetic and carefree new single is a result of Yaeji’s recent period of deep introspection,” reads a press statement. “On ‘booboo,’ Yaeji returns to the club with a new found self-liberation, locked into her connection with mind, body and soul, surrounded by her friends and the underground dance community that inspired her to begin making music in the first place.”

The single was originally premiered at Yaeji’s Boiler Room set from Brooklyn Mirage this summer.

‘booboo’ marked the first new material from the New York artist this year. Last April, Yaeji dropped her debut album, ‘With A Hammer‘, via XL, which followed her other full-length release, the ‘WHAT WE DREW 우리가 그려왔던‘ mixtape on XL Recordings.

In 2021, she collaborated with WEiRDCORE and DiAN for a PAC-MAN inspired music video
