Donato Dozzy and Neel launch techno sub label, Spazio Nero

Donato Dozzy and Neel have launched a new sub-label, Spazio Nero. The techno-focused imprint marks its arrival with a four-track EP from Neel, titled ‘Movimento’.

Out in early October, Spazio Nero 001 promises to “set the tone for what to expect”, delivering “four cuts of flawless techno pressure for the late nights”. Check out the EP’s first track, ‘Visione’, via Bandcamp below.

More releases are expected to surface from the label this year, all “pushing four-to-the-floor, heady techno jams, always with the spacious Spazio narrative in mind,” according to a press release.

The artists, who also collaborate as Voices From The Lake, launched their Spazio Disponibile label back in 2016 and have since put out releases by artists such as Kangding Ray, Marco Shuttle, Mike Parker, Grand River and others.

Last year, Dozzy put out a new six-track release titled ‘Magda’, which pays tribute to the Adriatic Sea, as well as his family — specifically his aunt, who a press release describes as “one of the strongest women in Donato’s life and a real life teacher”.
