Conducta shares new track, ‘Needed U’: Listen

Conducta has shared a new track, ‘Needed U’.

The track’s release comes after the British UK garage producer announced he was finishing his much-loved Kiwi Rekords label earlier this year, and it’s the first of three new songs that he will self-release over the course of the next three weeks.

‘Needed U’, which you can listen to below, blends influences of classic Miami funk and electro with emotive vocal samples in a departure from the UK garage sound that has dominated much of Conducta’s past work. It’s the first new music that he has shared since the release of 2023 EP ‘In Transit’.

Announcing the end of Kiwi Rekords in April, Conducta said: “It’s been a real privilege to have run the label and have had an impact on so many people. Today the scene is a vibrant worldwide community and with that being said we feel our mission has been accomplished. Now feels like the right time for me to step aside and press pause on the label. The music will live on and the memories will stay but for now there will be no new forthcoming music on Kiwi Rekords.”
