With a journey that began in 2009, Nonduality has fostered a deep appreciation for a wide range of Electronic Music substyles; whilst inspired by House and Techno, Nonduality continues to refine a signature sound that speaks to his background and sonic interests, working to push boundaries and remain unconfined by specific guidelines and genre standards. As he continues to work to share his music with listeners around the globe, Nonduality remains driven: determined to capture attention and make his talents known.

We sat down with Nonduality for a quickfire interview, gaining greater insight into his creative mind as we explored his process, influences, and aspirations.

T.H.E – Favourite track you’ve produced so far?

Nonduality – “Sundial,” released via my collective Whalesong Society.

T.H.E – Digital or Vinyl – which do you prefer and why?

Nonduality – Vinyl — because my records are my best friends.

T.H.E – Your go-to plugin in the studio?

Nonduality – Diva by U-he for that juicy analog sound.

T.H.E – One word to describe your musical style?

Nonduality – Understated.

T.H.E – Top three artists who have influenced you the most?

Nonduality – Four Tet, Daniel Avery, Skee Mask.

T.H.E – Favourite music genre outside of Electronic Music?

Nonduality – Soul and RnB.

T.H.E – Most used production technique in your tracks?

Nonduality – Extended chords.

T.H.E – A career milestone you hope to achieve soon?

Nonduality – Vinyl EP release.

Nonduality – Debilitating World of Warcraft addiction 🙂
