Native Instruments announces Traktor Pro 4

Native Instruments has announced the latest version of its long-running DJ software, Traktor.

The latest update adds stem separation technology, a new maximiser powered by iZotope DSP, a built-in 16-step drum machine, and new flexible beat grids for more accurate analysis across different tempos.

Along with the new iZotope-powered Maximiser, which utilises its mastering technology, Traktor Pro 4’s new stem separation is also powered by the US tech giant, taken from its popular plugin, RX.

Pattern Player is Traktor’s new drum machine, featuring samples from artists like Rebekah, Luke Slater, Len Faki, Chris Liebing, Dubfire and more. The 16-step sequencer also syncs with the tempo of your set, and DJs can sequence patterns and percussion.

Elsewhere, the usual Traktor features remain with Remix Decks, over 40 studio-quality FX, multi-mode EQs, Ableton Link support, timecode vinyl support, key detection for harmonic mixing, and smart playlist creation all present. Two months of free Beatport Streaming subscription are also included.

Native Instruments also released a compact new Traktor-powered controller called the X1 MK3 last year.

Traktor Pro DJ 4 costs €149 and is available now. Find out more on the Native Instruments website.
