London’s Pickle Factory announces socially distanced party series at Oval Space

London club The Pickle Factory is taking over nearby sister venue Oval Space in November and December for a series of socially distanced club events.

Running across seven consecutive Fridays, the autumn series will see The Pickle Factory’s music and booking policy transplanted to “the airy, well-ventilated confines of Oval Space,” as booker Toby Wareham says. Each event will run from 5pm to 10pm in accordance with current COVID-19 measures, and capacity will be limited to 150-170 attendees (depending on group sizes) with tables spaced 1.5 metres apart. Tables are available for groups of four or six.

It all kicks off on Friday, November 6th when The Ghost play all night long, with Bristol’s Batu and Anina taking the reins the following Friday. Further guests lined up over the following five Fridays include Chaos In The CBD, Dan Shake, re:ni and Sicaria Sound. You can find the full upcoming listings here.

The Pickle Factory and Oval Space’s decision to host these events follows on from their application for financial support as part of the UK government’s £1.57 billion Culture Recovery Fund being rejected earlier this month.
