Nottingham label Pond Life Party is raising money for a local rehabilitation centre by auctioning off its DJ Mag Best Of British award.

The Midlands bass outfit took a runner-up spot in the Breakthrough Label category, up against winners fabric Originals, at the December awards ceremony. Now they’re hosting a raffle on Crowdfunder and using the award to fundraise for The Carpenter’s Arms, a Loughborough grassroots rehabilitation centre to support men with severe drug and alcohol addiction.

“They have a 89% success rate for getting their residents sober and into full time employment after completing their 6 month rehabilitation programme”, PLP wrote in the campaign description. “One of my best friends has recently completed the 6 month rehabilitation course at The Carpenters Arms and has had his life changed forever.”

Entry into the raffle costs as little as £1, with increasing prize draw donation tiers available. So far they’re raised £745 of their £1,000 goal. The winner will be announced via Instagram Live on 15th April.

Support and enter the raffle here, and see Pond Life Party’s post in full below.
