Pioneer DJ’s sister brand AlphaTheta announces Tokyo pop-up store

AlphaTheta — Pioneer DJs new sister brand — has announced a new pop-up store in Tokyo, at Harajuku’s MIL GALLERY. It will run for nine days from 23rd to 31st March.

The pop-up will feature a host of DJ performances and special guests, as well as an array of Pioneer DJ’s latest DJ hardware for visitors to test and try. There will also be in-depth workshops for beginners up to pro users, and lessons from AlphaTheta’s own instructors.

Each evening, the space will transform into a dancefloor, with lineups including Kikiorix from Rainbow Disco Club, Kotsu from Japan-based house music collective CYK, UK-born DJ Frankie $, SAMO from FULLHOUSE and N² from Kyun Desu.

The pop-up offers a chance for Pioneer DJ and its parent company AlphaTheta Corporation to show off their latest kit, from the latest industry-standard player, the CDJ-3000, and high-end mixer the V10, to the new OMNIS-DUO all-in-one unit and the WAVE-EIGHT portable and wireless DJ speaker.

You can find out more about AlphaTheta’s pop-up here.

AlphaTheta Corporation, owners of the Pioneer DJ brand, announced new brand, AlphaTheta, in January, followed by a range of new products. The Pioneer DJ name will continue to operate as normal.
